Hey All,Does anyone have any idea if there are going to be any meetings in Scotland as there hasn't been one for about a year whereas the rest of the country have them on a regular basis?Cheers,Ray

Hey,
You would have to do this through the search settings in the Shared Service
Provider within central administration.

Hey,
If you have been given site admin rights you have probably been added to the
site collection admins group so while you might have access to the site in
question I would guess since you had to request this access you won't have
access to RDP onto the box or access central administration.

Hi,
I would be careful when doing this as while it is easily done it could cause
issues going forward. The site actions menu provides a useful way for people to
interact with the site and without it might result in users not easily being
able to do certain tasks such as edit pages, accessing the site settings, etc.

Hi Guys,
I'm having a strange problem with user permissions in MOSS 2007, specifically
around how often changes to what AD groups a user is a member of is filter to
SharePoint. For example if I have a user who is a member a AD group, which is
granted permission to a SharePoint site if I remove that user from the group in
AD it seems like the
