Pick yourself up a copy of Todd Klindt's Sharepoint 2010 Admin...its very good and what I used to implement FBA. Im an admin and not to hot on XML or C Sharp and I found this book really easy to follow especially due to the fact that it tells you exactly where to add the various code snipes to the web.config ...

Hi,I have 2 content search sources set up, MOSS sites & UNC
I think I'm right in thinking the MOSS does not apply security trimming to UNC search results. Is there any way to manage/stop the UNC results from displaying in certain MOSS user groups?I'll keep diggin in the meantime.Thanks
