What was your restore process. Depending on what you did you might need to create a new web application and reattach your content databases as a minimum requirement. You could have a lot more work to do depending on the complexity and steps you took

I would add one more thing to this if I may from a pure ITPRO perspective,
When creating new sites that consume the content types from the hub you can expect a delay of 1.5 to 2 seconds as each content type is deployed via PRIME to the new site. If you have hundreds of content types (and I've seen it) this can lead to page timeouts and a ppor user

Sorry to sounds negative but honestly you would be better getting SP2007 up to SP2 and Oct 2010 CU minimum before attemting any upgrade or migration work. That was the build tested migration platform and anything prior to that is taking a risk on an untested platform.

SharePoint doesnt support the use of local machine accounts unless you have installed it in single server mode.

Seems to reveal your customer is using some hardcoded links and you might also want to check out he web application Alternate Access Mappings since those are now content database resident
