The fill in choice is just there to let users put there own one off option in - not to allow them to add to a list.
If you want that - create another list and use a lookup on the list - then let people add and remove items from the second list... easy!

Sounds like a configurations account problem! If you have a server farm try this on a different front end...

Is this the same on another PC? Have you check that out?
I have seen this when the DPI was set to 120, I changed it and it worked - it sounds stange - but it does effect page rendering.
Also - try creating a new user on the box and then logon and try with the new profile.
Lastly, check you have scripts allowed in the browser... and any

You are suppose to get an info box saying ''You cannot save the document here. Please save to a listed document library, or use the Views menu in the dilogue box to change the webview to any other view, and then select a folder.
What service pack do you have? Defo. worth a check!!!
