Hi Sohail, As far as I know there is no way that a student can return a non SCORM resource via SLK.  That is why we have retained Class Server for now, so that we can create SCORM compliant resources for this purpose where needed. We also use Word documents as the basis for assignments in SLK.  Students open the document from their Assignment Diary and can then save them locally if need be.  They have to return them either via email or hard copy in the conventional way.
