Charteris is a leading Microsoft Gold Partner Consultancy who are seeking top technical consultants to join their growing organisation. As a SharePoint consultant you will be working in a culture that delivers some of the most initiative solutions built upon the Microsoft platform. You will work within a team of other specialised development staff: architects, designers and developers, developing leading edge solutions.
To join our highly regarded technical team you will be highly skilled in software engineering using our core technologies .NET and C# with specific expertise and in-depth knowledge in SharePoint technologies, especially SPS 2003 and MOSS 2007.
You must have experience in designing and implementing enterprise scale SharePoint solutions with at least 3 years as a developer with Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (WSS 3.0) and SharePoint Portal Services 2003 (SPS 2003). This should include content indexing, personalization and restricting access to content. Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Services (MOSS) 2007 highly preferred.
Your experience of working on commercial projects will be complimented by your proven ability to develop strong professional relationships with both clients and colleagues, whilst also able to work independently.

Principal Technologists are also expected to be able to demonstrate their capabilities by the following;
• Having a high profile in the Industry e.g. speaking at conferences, writing articles in industry publications
• Strong track-record in Consulting at the highest levels and ability to build board level relationships
• A desire and capability to mentor more junior members of the team and act as a centre of technical expertise
• Ability to lead the Charteris technical thought leadership initiatives both internally and externally
