Job Description
Sword Group, a highly successful international IT Consultancy is seeking a Lead Technical Consultant for its specialist UK SharePoint/ECM Practice based in the Brentford, West London office. This is a fantastic senior opportunity for a creative, dynamic and highly motivated self starter who wants to make a real difference to an established and highly regarded systems integrator and to help develop and grow the business. This role is office based but will involve travel (mostly UK) and is highly client facing. Only highly experienced and very technical personnel that match all the skills & experience below should apply. This role is part pre-sales and part paid consulting and candidates must have excellent experience in both areas.
Desired Skills & Experience
5+ years deep technical knowledge and experience in SharePoint WSS / 2007 / 2010– all aspects of SharePoint capability
Background in pre-sales as well as paid consulting
Proven track record delivering enterprise solutions for medium-large clients
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Good asp.net C# development background – experience in others a bonus
In-depth knowledge of Information Architecture and Governance
Experienced in customer consulting and running workshops to define functional / non-functional requirements / IA etc
Pre-sales experience including creating & running demonstrations with customers + taking lead on proposals, technical solution design, architecture, estimates, etc
Good relationship with Microsoft UK sales and technical personnel and SharePoint ecosystem
Knowledge of 3rd party solutions to complement SharePoint
Ability to oversee projects / engagements from a technical and customer aspect to ensure quality and timeline of deliverables
Willing to be office based in Brentford, West London, and to travel (mainly UK) - driving license and no restrictions in overseas travel from UK to Europe / US required
Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel, work under pressure and “go the extra mile” when required
Thought leading, creative and commercially minded – ability to create and articulate solutions for clients and find opportunities
Proven understanding of other non-Microsoft technologies especially ECM, BPM, Capture
Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Cloud platforms - Office365 and Azure
Proven Microsoft technical certifications plus accreditations such as SDPS
Public speaking / thought leading articles and publications / knowledge and use of social media a major bonus
Leadership in driving new technologies and waves such as social - and turning into business opportunities
Ability to articulate business solutions in a confident, non technical manner at all levels
Flexible - experience in PM methodologies, Business Analysis, Integrations & Migrations
