Hi All The next Nottingham event will be on the 31st July 2012 where we will have two sessions and a BBQ in between -- COME ON we MUST be due at least one decent BBQ evening this summer!! Now the SP 2013 NDA is lifted we have a 2013 session for IT Pros along with a 2010 session so a good mix.

Session 1 - What’s new for IT Pro in SharePoint 2013 - John Timney MVP This session provides a holistic overview of the changes in SharePoint 15 from an IT Pro perspective. The session is designed to help the audience to determine what significant changes they need to research, target and practice build in 15. What significant architectural changes have occurred, what the new footprint entails, storage considerations, browser support, a dip into what has been dropped, an overview of what has matured, upgrade differences, search changes and other aspects that are important to an IT Pro in up-skilling with the next wave of SharePoint. This is a must attend session for leading edge SharePoint IT Pro looking to jump start their 15 experience curve

Session 2 - Advance No-Code SharePoint 2010 Workflows - Penny Coventry MVP At a previous SUGUK Nottingham meeting, Penny and Alex Clark , introduced creating workflows using SharePoint Designer (SPD) 2010 and how these could be extended by creating custom actions with Visual Studio. In this session, Penny will look at using advance task actions, and how secondary workflows can help overcome the limitation that you can’t create state workflows with SPD 2010

We'll also hold an ask the experts session at the end.
