Hi All

Due to the success of our previous 'Real World SharePoint Meeting', Im pleased to announce we will be holding a 'PArt 2' following the same format!

This will be an evening of real world SharePoint - I have at least four examples of real SharePoint Projects to see what organisations and their SharePoint Professionals are doing in the real world.

The message for each will aim to cover:
- What we did
- How we did it
- Problems we faced
- Lessons learned

We have the following speakers and sessions lined up for you:

Building “Connect” - experiences of building Capgemini Aspire’s new Intranet - Sam Dolan, Mark Shepphers, Gareth Peate

In this 3 part session Gareth Peate – Intranet Manager for Capgemini Aspire, Sam Dolan – SharePoint Design & Branding expert for Pink Petrol & Mark Sheppard – SharePoint consultant for Microsoft, are going to talk about the recent launch of the Capgemini Aspire intranet – “Connect”. Gareth will be talking about where they have some from using SharePoint 2003 and the recent transition to 2010!. Sam will be talking about the creative elements, ideas & design/branding process & finally Mark will be telling us about the development process, decisions he made and why.

I have not been to one of these events before but I would be interested in attending as we have been using Sharpoint in school for some time. Do I just turn up or do I need to book?

Through your post you have booked your place, so just turn up - it will be good to meet you.

These are informative events, but in a relaxed atmosphere. I just keep track of numbers here for catering purposes.

Is there any particular area of SharePoint that you would like to learn more about? Also, you are more than welcome to show what you have done with SharePoint in your school if you wish :)
