UPDATE - New Speaker and giveaways!!

Hi All

I'm very excited to announce our next SUGUK meeting in Nottingham to take place on Thursday 19th November.

As you most probably know, SharePoint 2010 was unveiled at the SharePoint Conference in Las Vegas in October. Masses of new and updated features were revealed along with Microsoft's drive towards SharePoint Online and Cloud Computing.

Mike Watson and Steve Smith will be joining us to discuss the new features and what this means for Developers and Administrators with two great sessions.

We will also be hosting a Q&A floor session on general MOSS issues, and seeking to work with the audience to define our session topics and format for next year. We have some bottles of wine available for the best questions!

Steve will be taking us through some of the new Admin and End User functions available with SharePoint 2010.

The stakes have never been higher for these age old enemies as they battle for SharePoint 2010 supremacy in this no holds barred, grudge match. In SharePoint 2007, the admin blocked every attempt to deploy code, resulting in a decisive victory over dev. Dev, now leaner and stronger, is hungry and eagerly awaits this rematch on the SharePoint 2010 card. Fans won’t be disappointed as these old rivals duke it out in this epic battle

Time:
Arrive from 6pm for a 6:30pm start. Pizzas/snacks around 7:30pm and off to the pub at 9:00pm

There will also be a SharePint event afterwards, at the Broad Oak pub, down the road in Strelley Village, and possibly 'ShareCurry' afterwards in Nottingham for those who wish to stay on a little later.
