SharePoint User Group UK

Hi SUGers, after accidentally deleting a subsite using SharePoint Designer we have restored the site from backup. We have MOSS 2007 service pack 1 (WSS 3.0) - version 12.0.6324. The documents and images have been recovered but although the pages appear on the navigation and in the pages document library, if you click on one you get "page not found". Any ideas how to get our pages back?

Do you have customised pages?
Open up the site in SharePoint Designer , locate the Deafult.aspx, right click and reset to site definition.
Then try.
If this doesn't work perhaps someone else could steer you in the right direction.
