Hello All

Along with the other regional SUGUK groups., we have the pleasure of announcing a bonus SUGUK meeting to coincide with Microsoft's Tech Days event.

Microsoft and Combined Knowledge have jointly funded this event, and we will be celebrating both Microsoft's forthcoming Office 2010/SharePoint 2010 releases and also the superb SharePoint Evolutions Conference - held in London the following week.

This will be less formal and more 'festival' as we head to the Showcase Cinema in Teeside for a private screening of Clash of the Titans (2010), following a short DVD to outline the key features of Microsoft's new offerings from the soon to be released Office / SharePoint 2010 products.

We will also be holding an open-mic "Ask the Experts" session on general SharePoint topics such as business adoption, Sharepoint designer, VS 2010 and Office focussed development in general before settling down to popcorn and titans. Panel volunteers are welcomed (drop me a line to get on the panel please)!

This event is limited to 100 people so sign up by replying to this post and confirm your attendance.

The event start time is 6.30pm and the film starts at 7.30pm. I would ask that people try to arrive by 6pm latest as we expect a lot of people.

The event start time is 6.30pm and the film starts at 7.30pm. Best if you get there by 6pm so you don;t end up at the back of the queue and get the worst seat in the house :).
