Welcome to the first Manchester SharePoint User Group meeting arranged under the new organisation of the SharePoint User Group UK.
I have great pleasure in putting this event on with some extremely high profile SharePoint professionals to support the many users in the area.
Due to the close time of this meeting to the SharePoint conference we thought it would be useful to start with a presentation covering what is new in SharePoint 2010.
The second session will be run as an open Q&A session which we hope will allow us to get to know you, the users, and what you want the User Group to offer you in future meetings. You will have the opportunity to tell others about your involvement with SharePoint, which features you are using and to ask questions to our expert panel who are knowledgeable in all versions of SharePoint, past, current and future.
It promises to be a great event with lots of new topics to talk about and we look forward to seeing you there.
