Hi,
So reasonably how many users can my single virtual web front end expect to handle concurrently? the specs are as follows:

Windows 2k3 SP2 x64 Standard
Moss x64
4gb RAM
intel xeon e5320 x 2 CPU
vmware esx 3.5

please can anyone offer a good guess at this?

Hi PeteQ,

Do you have a usage profile for the users? What will the average user be doing on the web front end and how long is the average connection.

Have you tried the SharePoint Capacity Planning Tool?
