Connecting Exhange to Sharepoint, subdomain or other?

    Hi All,

We have a standalone trial sharepoint MOSS 07 install, and want to test sending emails with documents directly into folders (via email address).

Is best practice to create a subdomain like:       foldername@subdomain.company.co.uk
Or is there a "nice" way to integrate with Exchange and just use company.co.uk, like thus:
     foldername@compant.co.uk

Just wondered what best practice/normal practice is really?

    Thanks for any tips
    Steve

    and this for exchange 2007

    http://www.combined-knowledge.com/Downloads/How%20to%20configure%20Email%20Enabled%20Lists%20in%20Moss2007%20RTM%20using%20Exchange%202007.pdf
