    Share tables between sites

    Hey All,

    Hope you can help:)

    A bit new to MOSS 2007 and also 2003.

    Is it not possible to share tables between sites?? Lets say I have a site for Cars, and I make subsite, Audi. Then it is not possible to access tables, (This could be Document Libraries) stored in Cars and vice versa?

    You could use Data Form Web Part in SharePoint Designer, then link it to the list in the parent site or you could use the Data Form Web Part to get list info from the Lists.asmx web. You could also use the Content Query Web Part to query a list from one site to another.

    If you want to create a custom list in "Audi" and create a lookup column to a list in "Cars" you can create a column in the column gallery in "Cars" to create the link and then use the column in the list in "Audi". I've blogged this here:
