    When one of our users clicks on an Excel 2007 spreadsheet, MOSS 2007 tries to open it in Excel Services. If they use the Edit drop down, or use Explorer View or search for the spreadsheet they can open it OK.

    Any have any idea's.

    Can you explain the problem a bit more.

    I'm asssuming the .xls is in the users path.
    Or , is it on Sharepoint?

    I think I would check to see where the Excel Trusted Folder is. I'd bet that's where the file is located.
    If so, then Sharepoint is doing what it is supposed to.

    The Excel workbook is in a document library on SharePoint with the user having contribute permissions.
