SharePoint User Group UK

What are the best resources for getting up to speed very quickly on MOSS 2007 from the view point of a developer who has to implement the IA of the site as well as the UI?

Looking for for some advice to cut down on the noise and focus on the signal for optimal learning.

If you've had some exposure to SharePoint already and are a reasonable developer then I would suggest looking at the Combined Knowledge course.  Really detailed course covering all aspects of WSS development.
