We use the messagelabs web scanning service, they block url's based on the categories signed up to by your company.

We also have access out to the net only on ports 80, and 443. Event FTP has to either go via the proxy or the ADSL machine! Paranoid security teams?

I'm going to upload a different applet to GeoCities. I very much doubt you won't be able to access it considering it's under Yahoo's domain name. There may be a problem with the ports considering IRC server typically only accept connections in the 6000+ but that can be changed.
