18:00 - 18:30 Registration and networking
18:30 - 19:30 Session 1: Ant Clay "The Missing Link In SharePoint Projects"
This session will explain why I think we are focussing on the wrong things in our SharePoint projects and we need to shift our focus. The missing link is a complete shift in our thinking about what is important in delivering SharePoint projects and is analogous to a long term relationship. In this session I will explain: • The impact of focussing our SharePoint projects on the wrong things • What the missing link in SharePoint projects really is • Actionable steps for plugging the gaps and successfully delivering SharePoint projects long-term.
19:45 - 20:45 Session 2: Martin Hatch - "SharePoint performance testing with Visual Studio 2010"
We will take a whistle-stop tour of getting up and running with Visual Studio 2010 performance and load testing. This will start from the basics (what are we testing and why?) and ramp up through building dynamic tests using data-binding, extending our tests with code and finally fully distributed load tests using Visual Studio 2010 Test Agents which allow us to simulate a literally unlimited user load!
