Our next London meeting has been confirmed for Tuesday 25th May. The timetable for the evening is as follows;
18:00-18:30: Arrival and registration
18:30-19:30: For the first session of the evening Mark Macrae will be presenting "The Evolution of PerformancePoint Services".
In the first half of this session, we’ll take hard look at PerformancePoint Monitoring Server 2007 and what it can offer existing MOSS 2007 Enterprise users, its quick wins and situations where it can be put to good use despite being a v1 product. We shall also expose its pain points, what it doesn’t offer, and look at managing the expectations of those with high hopes it can do wondrous things.
In the second half we’ll look at the newly integrated PerformancePoint Services in SharePoint Server 2010 – the major improvements it brings, and also ask if it can do some of the simple things we wanted to do with PPS 2007. Throughout the session I will be discussing the role that SQL Reporting Services plays in line with both products.
19:30-20:00: Break for refreshments and pizza.
20:00-21:00: For the second session we welcome Wesley Hackett who is going to tell us about the Community Kit for SharePoint:Development Tools Edition.
