    SharePoint 2007 Training

We are looking to implement MOSS 2007 we have been "playing" with a demo version for a few weeks - as we progress it is obvious we need to arrange training for the individual(s) that will be administering the day to day use of MOSS.

Does anyone know of a training organisation in East Anglia that delivers courses on MOSS?

    Any input greatly appreciated.

    Soctt,

I can highly recommened Steve and his team and combined knowledge.  Also, I'd like to introduce myself, I'm a SharePoint consultant working for Atkins MC, an IT consultancy.  We currently work with a number of organisations on their SharePoint implementations and may be able to offer some help looking ahead.

    Re: SharePoint 2007 Training

I'd support Jasons recommendation on using Combined Knowledge, as I've actually sat through one of their training courses and the knowledge gained was useful enough to help me architect a 120,000 seat instance of MOSS 2007.  While I already knew a lot, the training filled the gaps and it was well worth the spend if you weigh it up against the cost of getting it wrong.

I think you had answered a similar Steve as I posted a review of the Admin course on my blog in response.

Scott, I'f you'd like to read a breakdown of the Admin course provided by Combined Knowledge, then please see this link. http://www.myfatblog.co.uk/?p=19

I attended the course in February and found it to be very clear, concise and engaging for the whole duration.

    Regards

    Paul.

    Hi there Scott

You may want to check out JB International's SharePoint 2007 Application Development Training Course too. Our training centre for public and closed courses is in Whetstone, North London, but we are happy to deliver custom on-site courses anywhere in the UK and beyond.

We've been running SharePoint training for years, and we have run several on-site and public customised courses in SharePoint 2007. Our instructors have very strong commercial as well as technical experience.

I'm always glad to help with any questions, so please feel free to call 0800 028 6400, and ask for Tom!

    Hi Scott,

The guys at Combined Knowledge are really good.

I did a SharePoint Administrator 2003 course last October and it was great. Our College is sending two guys this month to do both the Administrator and Developer courses. The trainers are very knowledgeable guys.

    Re: SharePoint 2007 Training

I can whole heartedly recommend Combined Knowledge. While I was working at at Aberdeen College, our IT systems and development staff including myself attended their training and we were all very pleased with them.

At my current place of work, a very large oil and gas company, we have used Combined Knowledge in the past and will be doing so in the future.

    Very knowledeable and very through.

    Great training organisation.

I also recommend Combined Knolwedge - we have sent our own staff and our clients there and had excellent feedback.
