Hi everyone, we're happy to announce another evening of SharePoint in Nottingham! Two fantastic speakers lined up: Alex Pearce MVP recently co-organised the SharePoint Learning Gateway Conference and will be sharing his experience with SharePoint User Adoption. Also we have managed to grab Mike Watson while he's in the UK to do a session on SharePoint Performance. Mike is an inspiring speaker and has a huge wealth of experience to share. If thats not enough we'll be prividing coffee, food & soft drinks and there will be a SharePint event afterwards at the local pub.

Alex (SharePoint MVP) has been in IT since the year 2000 and has worked both in education and industry. He has been working in schools within the West Midlands since 2004 before moving to the largest school in Europe in April 2008. His current role is Learning Gateway and ICT Manager at Great Barr School providing the Microsoft Learning Gateway to schools in the local area of Birmingham, UK.
His main focus is SharePoint but also works with all the products in the Microsoft Learning Gateway which includes Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange and ISA.
Alex believes that the most important part of his job is not about the technology but how it is being used to help the pupils and staff in their delivery of lessons and development of pupils work lives in lessons and at home.
