SharePoint User Group UK

I am a new member North of the UK Border looking to hear if there are likely to be any meetings up here? I noted the one on Newcastle.

I very much hope to be able to arrange a UG meeting in edinburgh - possibly with the VBUG folks - sometime in May.

All being well June 19th in Edinburgh is the evening to put in your calendar. I have a great event lined up and a great venue all being well. Better book the next day of too Spence no point trying to fly home that evening :)

I'd be very interested in the June event, and I believe we're also looking to run some Scottish MOSS events ourselves before then. We have a number of MOSS resources in the Sword Group, as many of you will know, and we're basing a lot of the ops up here from our Glasgow office. Part of our role is to run User Forums over a number of technologies but MOSS will be a significant factor in the ones we're planning. Perhaps we can liaise and maximise the benefit for everyone involved?

Just wondering if there is any news on a Glasgow SharePoint meeting?

Hi,

We recently took over another big company, Graham Technology, and inherited >200 IT Staff, some of whom have various MOSS accreditations. We're still homogenising everyone but very much hoping to go ahead with an event sometime in late June, but I'll post here as soon as we have any dates set.

Hmm, read about SWORD taking them over in the news. Thought GT were mainly a Java house.
