Add Submit Buttons to the Bottom of Forms

I found a guide to add Submit buttons to the bottom of Forms (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms916821.aspx), but need help.

I have found the right location on my server, but am unable to determine which SCHEMA.XML file I should be editing as there are several to choose from. It says:

    1. Open the SCHEMA.XML file for the list, which is located in the appropriate Local_Drive:\\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\60\TEMPLATE\Loc_ID\Site_Definition\Lists\List_Type folder.

The location, however, contains several folders, none of which are the right List that I would like to modify.

Am I going about this the wrong way? Should I be looking for my custom list http://companyweb/Lists/DSA%20Fault%20Tracker/DSA.aspx or is there a specific List type I should be modifying?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Any chance of any kind of reply? Is it that no one knows, or that it is a dumb question and I should know better?

I'd appreciate a nudge in the right direction..........

    Thx
