SharePoint User Group UK

I was really disappointed that I couldn't make the SharePoint Conference in Settle this year but my boss has asked me to quote it up and let him know how much its going to costs for 2009

Does anyone know the date yet - any tips on hotel costs, flights etc.

How much did it cost for you last year?

Hi Alex , we need to wait a while as the SharePoint Conference may well be back in Europe next year as it was in Berlin in 2007. As soon as we get dates and locations I will post them up.

Somewhere in the UK would be great as I'm not so keen on the old flying business. Neither is the boss who'd be paying for it too of course, but for entirely different reasons.

I think the chances of it being in the UK are rather slim.. We're kinda stuck out too far to the west for some of these European types to travel to.

But at least if it was in Paris or Brussels Stephen, you could use Eurostar.

I can fly if I need to, but like paying taxes - I'd rather not.

Now if they could hold it in Germany, say somewhere near the Nurburgring, i'd just drive down and make a holiday of it!

We have just confirmed that there will be a SharePoint Best Practices Conference in the UK from April 6th - 8th 2009. I will be announcing the official site and details in the next day or two.
