    The Amazing Invisible Web Application!

I've a test, stand-alone server at home that I'm using to get to grips with MOSS 2007 and am having a few problems. One problem being that every time I try to create a new web app and then a new SSP for it, I can never see it! Am I going mad?

Could this be down to the fact that the MOSS installation created a default web app on port 80 as part of the installation? If so, is there any way that I can see both web apps?

    Any guidance would be appreciated!

    Thanks.

If you've created muliple web applications, check the port number and address it as such in the url. Go to Administration Tools, Internet Information Services (IIS) and you'll be able to see the created web applications and SSPs. Note port numbers down and address as:

    http://mywebapplication:port
