We are soon to migrate from WSS 3 to MOSS 2007. I am looking into training courses.

Does anyone know if there is an MCP for MOSS 2007 yet?

Hi Simon , yes there are two exams for Admins that are in the new MCTS ( technology specialist ) certification.

Exam 70-630: TS: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Configuring

Exam 70-631: TS: Configuring Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0

I recently took 70-630 TS: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, Configuring and thankfully passed :). Can I also recommend Microsoft's eLearning module (Collection 5404) as I found this an excellent resource and especially good for a pre-exam cramming session .

Hi, I am soon to sit 70-631 exam and was wondering if there are any sites / additional reading material book etc., / practice exams that can be receommeneded? I have previously attended MS5060A course (Implementing Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3) but wanted to check if anyone else can recommend any additional material to assist with preparation for the exam. Practice exams seem to be in short supply for the SharePoint MCTS exams, especially the dev ones.

I took my MCTS Moss & WSS admin ones last year after attending the Combined Knowledge course and passed both comfortably, but I also work daily with the product which helps.

Book wise, I'd recommend the Administrators bible by Bill English as it covers all the exam material, but it's NOT a training guide.

I've been going through Bill English's Admin Companion and its realy good - big book of over 1000 pages buts its really good and useful.
