    Sharepointvillage.com

We all know about SharePoint and it seems that the rest of the world are now waking up to it.

SharePoint is growing so fast that it is getting it's own village. An exciting new website Sharepointvillage which will have everything SharePoint from all the world's leading vendors under one roof.

Sharepointvillage.com opens in less than six weeks so sign up now at http://www.sharepointvillage.com to be the first to receive information about this massive website.

The really exciting news is that this independent Sharepoint site will be hosted here in the UK and will offer absolutely everything SharePoint on a very modern and eye catching website.

    Re: Sharepointvillage.com

How is this an independent SharePoint site as you said it was to be hosted by Office-Talk back in January when you first mentioned this site and the advert on your (pre-web) site advertises vendors and consultancy?

There's a lot of us with websites and commercial interests in SharePoint but this is a User Group not an advert hoarding. There's a specific forum for advertising ones wares and services.

    Re: Sharepointvillage.com

    Paul,

    Understand your comments.

Yes, officetalk are hosting 'Sharepointvillage', but we are aiming to make it independent with all vendors being able to maintain their own areas. The idea is that everyone will know one place to go for everything SharePoint be it products, links to user groups and blogs. This we hope will give all of us the chance to promote our SharePoint services.

I deliberately didn't put this post in the 'Vendor' section of the user group because it isn't supposed to be an advert. We are just trying to inform as many SharePoint Users as possible about a website that we really think will benefit everyone connected with SharePoint. At the moment it is so confusing for everyone intersted inSharePoint because there are just thousands of SharePoint websites out there. We are trying to bring the best ones under one roof.

Hope this clears up any missunderstanding. Plese drop me an email if you have any further questions.
