SharePoint User Group UK

Hi everyone. I'm brand new here and made up to have a found a UK SP group!
I have just setup sharepoint on a server at work (my-srv-021).

It all runs fine in there and picks me up as "Administrator" as that is the server logon name.

WHen I navigate to it locally from my Windows XP latop, I get "Error: Access Denied" message.

Underneath it does pick up my local user/logon name of "tom".

So where I am going wrong? I have setup my name in SP to give me ("tom") full control.

you need to give "torn" permission to view the site within site actions -> site settings -> advanced permission

in advanced permissions you can select all authenticated users or just type in the torn user account.
