SharePoint User Group UK

Hullo all!

My names Zulf and I'm new to this ug. I've been working with SharePoint for the a while and am currently deploying MOSS 2007 for a customer in London however I'm based in the Midlands!

My background is actually AD, principally migrations and infrastructure implementations.

I work for a consultancy based in London and do a heck of a lot of work for Quest and am lucky to have easy access to their tools!

Out of work I volunteer for a community radio station in Birmingham for whom I implemented WSS as well as deploying Joomla CMS for their external website.

I'm not an overt fan of Microsoft so I always look at alternatives - especially free ones and am often critical, but a lot of the MS stuff is pretty darn good and getting better.

Welcome aboard and hopefully you'll find some of our user sessions in your neck of the woods useful! I have to heartily recommend the Nottingham sessions as I attended one there the other week. Nice setting and great pub afterwards. (The content of the UG session was great too of course!)
