Which VS version should I purchase to aid WSS 3.0 developement? VS2008, VS2010 or VS.NET?

Hi again Glenn, VS2008 is the currently supported version and will integrate with the tools i mentioned before, VS 2010 when it arrives has a lot better support for Sharepoint development from the off and though a lot of it is geared towards SP2010 development, it can be used for 2007 as well (i've yet to test this out though)

I'm assuming you mean 2007 as you refered to WSS3.0 (though this is the 2003 area?, just thought i'd check :) ).
