    Problems with RSS and Kerberos

    Hi,

I have a SharePoint implementation being delivered by our Service Provider and they appear to have hit a major problem. We asked for internal RSS feeds and viewing to be implemented and they are struggling badly. As expected this is proving expensive for everyone.

We are running MOSS on two servers in an Extranet. We have a third server supporting Active Directory and that has a one-way trust to the AD servers inside the firewall. It was originally set-up to use NTLM before they realised that Kerberos had to be enabled for RSS.

Please excuse the lack of technical detail, but if anyone has any experience of implementing RSS and Kerberos inside this type of environment, I would love to hear from them. We can then examine ways of passing their knowledge onto my Service Provider.

    Cheers,

    Bobby

Take a look at this blog for first impressions but for definitive Kerberos information you should also look at the technet article listed
