    Strange problem following SP2 upgrade

    Please see my post here

    Stange SP2 Upgrade issue

Basically, i upgraded and it has broken the javascript externally and now the sign in button, as well as a lot of other things, doesn't work.

I am at a total loss as to how to fix it please help.

    Thanks

    Hi Matt,

Whilst I can't say I have experienced this, and all other things being equal, I'm guessing you are using AAM and different URLS for internal and external access. I would suggest trying initially to recreate your AAM definitions, or failing that if you have extended the web app for the external site, removing Sharepont from that website / virtual server and extending it again.

Your answer sounds vaguely familier and sounds like it might work, but not only am i lost as to what i have previously done and in which way i achieved these things but i am also super worried that the external site falls into the abyss. But i suppose i should try :)

Re: Strange problem following SP2 upgrade

Ok well strangely i have found that the problem seems to be with my web front end.
Something seems to be not loaded correctly but not sure what. I stopped IIS on my WFE and the external website stops working but the internal is still fine (making the assumption the internal is going to me CA server instead of the WFE.

So next plan is to reinstallt the WFE unless anyone has any better suggestions.

    Thanks

    Matt,

I see the site is looking ok now, what did you do in the end?
