SharePoint User Group UK

Hi,

I am following Steve Smith's blog on setting up incoming email in Sharepoint. All has gone well up to putting in the OU structure in Central Admin.  My OU for email is buried beneath three other OU's,

for example: Domain\OU1\OU2\OUemail.  It keeps erroring out.  I am wondering if i just dont have the syntax correct.  Do I have to put all the OU's that my email OU falls under, or do I just put my email OU and then the DC.

any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks. Danny

Hi Danny , I seem to have recollection of it being an issue trying to use deep nested OU's for managing this but I don't have any boxes near me right to test. The way this would look in the property setting though is as folows : OU=email;OU=sub2;OU=sub1;DC=domain;DC=com.
If this still fails then try moving your mail OU to the first level and try again.
