SharePoint User Group UK

Hello all,

I'm a project manager with a strong background in infrastructure projects, who has just completed an application development project and am working on a SharePoint implementation from the business side.

Should I

a) get some SharePoint admin/install/config training
b) move into Enterprise Architecture
c) stay in Project Management

I don't see many roles requesting Project Managers who have SharePoint experience...

Hi Inga,

Alll depends on what you are passionate about. If you really enjoy project management aspect of the job, then you could get a project management certification like Prince2 if you haven't one already. With this you can/remain a project manager irrespective of technology and can be able to switch jobs.

If your enjoy the SharePoint then getting trained on SharePoint certified would help. Hope it helps
