SharePoint User Group UK

As part of my intro to this site (previously browsing but never contributing!) I'd like to pass on my thanks to Steve for his presentations and showcase of SharePoint at the event.

I certainly learnt something new, and hope to be able to use this forum as a way of exploring solutions to challenges that I'm sure we will face as we roll out SharePoint further and look to exploit additional functionality.

Welcome Jason and I am glad you enjoyed the event. It was great to see so many people at the event. I think we topped out at 145 on day 1  which was great. I am sure we will do some more with Nathan on Exchange and OCS as the year progresses especially with Exchange 14 and SharePoint 14.

I second Jason's post. Firstly it was great to meet Steve at the event, always nice to put a face to the name.

The event was incredibly throrough and I'm full of questions after the event. I'm glad that the experts can be on hand at these events to help those who are still either struggling or have annoying problems with SharePoint or other aspects of the application.

I can't wait to go to the next meet up (time permitting!)

A little late I know but thanks for your time at the expo. Was very interesting but I think I would have got more out of it had I have used sharepoint a little beforehand.
