Ok, today I had the pleasure of installing MOSS 2007 final release version at a client (albeit a QA environment) and happened upon a discovery: When creating a 'web application' there is now an option to select whether or not you would like MOSS to restart IIS automatically / restart it yourself - small feature but nice to see :)
I am not sure if it was present in beta2tr as I stuck to beta2 beforehand (did not really feel like fixing stuff to work on stuff that now has been fixed).
I swear, if you visit any of my previous servers where I have installed SPS 2003 / 2001; click 'run' and you should see 'iisreset' pre-poulated in the command box!
On another note, I have also rebuilt my machine with the new release of Vista Ultimate and have noticed a couple of minor changes / tweaks from RC2 (but this could also be due to the fact that I got a notebook upgrade!) - unfortunately the Vodafone 3G PCMCIA card still causes a 'blue screen of death' so my blogging is to be relegated to the office, that is until I upgrade to a 3G enabled mobile.
