Email from Rob Gray, Microsoft:
Welcome to Berlin – I trust that the next few days prove to be very useful and productive for you!
You may have noticed on your agenda that on Tuesday night there is a “surprise party”… perhaps it’s German efficiency but I thought that generally you don’t let people know about surprise parties until they happen… nonetheless the organizers have been very accommodating in arranging a special UK VIP area at the main party kindly sponsored by Artemis Corp, ONLY for UK delegates. This is a good chance to meet up with the 128 UK delegates in one place.
In order to get in, you will need an orange wristband that you can pick up from me (Rob Gray) or Mark Harrison today or tomorrow (not too early as we still have to be given the wristbands). So your challenge is to track us down during the breaks today and tomorrow! Hopefully by the time you find us, we would have been given the orange wristbands…
The Party is happening on Tuesday evening (SURPRISE!) starting 19:30, with the first buses leaving Estrel at 7pm (30 min journey). You will need the orange wristband otherwise the hostesses won’t let you into the UK VIP area. From 21:30 pm the VIP area will become open to everyone so don’t be too late!
We look forward to meeting up with you!
Rob and Mark
