SharePoint Solution Generator

This stand-alone program generates a Site Definition project from an existing SharePoint site. The program enables developers to use the browser and Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer to customize the content of their sites before creating code by using Visual Studio.

Presentation Slides and PowerShell code from User Group Meeting Thursday 26'th October

Hi,

Just like to thank all those who attended the Presentation last Thursday on controlling SharePoint with PowerShell and Extending the Administration Object model.

I know it was pretty fast paced and technical so I plan to follow it up with a series of blogs entries recapping the steps and scripts in greater detail.

I've attached the PowerShell scripts and PowerPoint Slides.

I'm not able to post the sample code of the AD Sync application as parts of the code is proprietary but I will post a sample application shortly that does a scheduled backup using exactly the same template.

I've just posted a couple of blog entries that goes into detail on how to call SharePoint Web Services from client-side JavaScript code.

The Web Part lets you browse all the Links type Lists on your SharePoint site and add a new item, all without a page refresh.
